Radio Communications

The Lincoln County Communications guide, which is currently going through a complete overhaul to catch up with the changes of the 2013 FCC changes, was originally developed by a committee appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, which has since disbanded after the guide was created.  It is maintained by the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (EMA). The objective was to continue to develop a guide to help solve the County’s communication problems. This guide is also compatible with the Incident Command System.
Lincoln County EMA is currently developing a new and updated Radio training program to help the local first responders further develop and enforce the communication protocols that have been developed for use within Lincoln County – so stay tuned!
